Learning from home is a challenge all its own. Make it a bit easier by giving your kid a desk they can use for their remote schooling - and for their studying and homework, once they’re back to live classes. Keep school books in the integrated cubby, and make use of the perforations in the back panel for charging cables - they also help keep the cubby ventilated, in case any electronic devices are being stored there.

This desk will be custom-built when you order it. (Allow 3 weeks lead time.) You can select the right height for your child - or for you! - taking into account their height, seating, and how much room for growth you want to account for - and the right width based on what your child needs and how much space you have. The desk can be finished with a clear sealer for an extra $25, or left raw (“No Finish” option) for you or your child to paint.

Made to be disassembled when necessary (like when shipping!), the desk features knock-down hardware and can be assembled/reassembled with only a Philips-head screwdriver and a small wrench. It is made of Baltic Birch, a strong, high-quality plywood which will remain flat over time and which features an attractive pale look and cute striped edges. All sharp corners are rounded over for a soft touch.

• Customers elsewhere in California and in Oregon: delivery via UPS Ground, which typically costs between $35 and $45.
